I always used to walk down the hill clutching my "Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits" album to babysit for the people next door. Much of the appeal in the movie "The Graduate" were the 5 Simon & Garfunkel songs that played throughout the movie. Of course, I also liked Ben (Dustin Hoffman), Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft) and Elaine (Katharine Ross). Before I posted this comment, I saw the scene on a video when Ben is driving down the highway in the red convertible and "The Sound of Silence" is playing.
